The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.
1. Boston-based Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is reshuffling leadership. Peter Healy, currently the president and CEO of Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Milton (Mass.), will become president of BIDMC's Boston campus, effective Jan. 1. BIDMC will also create a new role of CFO for BIDMC.
2. David Lopez was named permanent executive vice president and COO of Parkland in Dallas.
3. Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, N.C., named Penney Burlingame Deal, DHA, RN, CEO.
4. Thomas "Tim" Stover, MD, president and CEO of Cleveland Clinic Akron (Ohio) General, retired.
5. St. Mary's Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo., a member of Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health, named Brian Davidson, MD, president.
6. Norma Jean Morgan, CEO of Effingham Health System in Springfield, Ga., retired abruptly.
7. Gay L. Landstrom, PhD, RN, was named interim CEO of Windsor, Vt.-based Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center, effective June 15.
8. St. Louis-based Ascension appointed Mike Mullins to lead its Kansas operations, effective July 1.
9. The C-suite at Conroe (Texas) Regional Medical Center got a little bigger, as Mujtaba Ali-Khan, DO, joined the hospital as its first-ever CMO.
10. Clarendon Health System in Manning, S.C., named Deborah Locklair CEO and administrator.
11. Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System named Lewis Seifert CFO of its multi-state division.
12. Marin General Hospital in Greenbrae, Calif., appointed Liz Kolcun chief development officer.
13. Audrey Gregory, PhD, MSN, BSN, RN, was named CEO of Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis (Tenn.).
14. Richmond-based Virginia Commonwealth University Health System named Melinda S. Hancock as its new senior vice president and CFO.
15. St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pa., part of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health, named Jim Woodward as the organization's new president and CEO, effective mid-July.
16. Scott Burleson was named executive director of University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Chestertown, effective May 30.
17. Chris Olsen, CFO of St. Charles Parish Hospital in Luling, La., will leave his post in June to accept another job.
18. UConn Health, based in Farmington, Conn., named Dirk Stanley, MD, its first ever CMIO.
19. Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare named A. Marc Harrison, MD, president and CEO.
20. Irvine, Calif.-based St. Joseph Hoag Health named Michael Beck chief administrative officer of Mission Hospital Laguna Beach (Calif.).
21. Dan DeBarba, executive vice president of Danbury-based Western Connecticut Health Network and president of Danbury and New Milford (Conn.) hospitals, resigned.
22. David Darden, CEO of Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, W.Va., resigned.
23. Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical Center named Mohan Suntha, MD, president and CEO, effective Sept. 1.
