1. Salisbury, Md.-based Peninsula Regional Health System and Peninsula Regional Medical Center named Steven E. Leonard president and CEO designate.
2. Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo., part of Kansas City-based Hospital Corporations of America Midwest Health, selected Olevia M. Pitts, MD, to serve as CMO.
3. Hastings, Neb.-based Mary Lanning Healthcare CMO Michael Skoch, MD, is leaving his post, effective March 31, 2017.
4. Mercy Health Muskegon (Mich.) President Greg Loomis plans to retire, effective June 30, 2017.
5. Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Garland (Texas) President Tom Trenary retired.
6. Lafayette, Colo.-based Good Samaritan Medical Center President and CEO Dave Hamm announced plans to retire at the end of March.
7. Dignity Health's Mercy Medical Center Redding (Calif.) tapped Todd Smith to serve as president, effective Feb. 26, 2017.
8. Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville, N.C., announced CEO Chad French resigned, making him the fourth person to leave the post in four years.
9. Erie, Pa.-based UPMC Hamot President Jim Fiorenzo is retiring, effective June 30, 2017.
