21 latest hospital, health system executive moves

The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. In April 2017, the president and CEO of the northwest Wisconsin region for Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic Health System, Randall Linton, MD, will retire.  

2. Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, Texas, tapped Todd Caliva to lead as CEO, effective Oct. 24.

3. Cincinnati-based TriHealth appointed Michael A. Bain, MD, its first chief medical informatics officer.

4. Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare CEO Gary Shorb is set to take on the role of executive director of The Urban Child Institute, also in Memphis.

5. Magnolia (Ark.) Regional Medical Center named Rex Jones CEO, effective December 2016.

6. Lisa Brandenburg, president of Seattle Children's Hospital, resigned.

7. Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Mo., tapped Pamela Lee, RN, to serve as COO.

8. Munson Healthcare Charlevoix (Mich.) Hospital announced the retirement of CEO Lyn Jenks.

9. Boone, N.C.-based Appalachian Regional Healthcare System CEO Richard Sparks is retiring, effective Jan. 27, 2017.

10. Ocean Beach Hospital in Ilwaco, Wash., dropped the "interim" from current CEO Larry Cohen's title.

11. Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Parkridge Health System President and CEO Darrell Moore is retiring, after serving at the helm of health system since 2006.

12. Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., named James Diegel CEO.

13. Brewer-based Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems added Timothy J. Dentry as senior vice president and COO, effective Nov. 7.

14. Tampa, Fla.-based Hospital Corporation of America West Florida named Frank Biondolillo, DO, CMO of Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla., and St. Petersburg (Fla.) General Hospital.

15. Gallipolis, Ohio-based Holzer Health System terminated the tenure of current CEO Christopher Meyer, DO.

16. Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Calif., appointed Jeremy Redin CFO.

17. Hospital Corporation of America's Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., appointed Scott Cihak CEO, effective Nov. 28.

18. Charleston, S.C.-based Roper St. Francis tapped Lorraine Lutton to serve as its next president and CEO.

19. Chicago-based Presence Health tapped Chris Shride to lead as president of Presence St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, Ill.

20. Lakeland (Fla.) Regional Health appointed Timothy Regan, MD, president of LRH Medical Center and CMO of all Lakeland Regional Health's enterprises.

21. Largo (Fla.) Medical Center named Stephanie McNulty COO.
