1. Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health has named Victor E. Giovanetti president of the company's Western Group of hospitals and promoted three senior leaders to new posts.
2. Guthrie, a hospital system based in Sayre, Pa., appointed Bert Robles as its new executive vice president and CIO.
3. Pamela Scagliarini was named COO of Bridgeport (Conn.) Hospital and senior vice president of Yale New Haven Health System in New Haven, Conn.
4. Northfield (Minn.) Hospital & Clinics named Scott Edin vice president of finance and CFO.
5. Nicholas "Nico" Tejeda is leaving his job as CEO of Doctors Hospital of Manteca (Calif.) to become the new CEO of Sierra Providence East Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.
6. Marsha D. Rappley, MD, was named VirginiaCommonwealthUniversity vice president for health sciences and CEO of the VCU Health System in Richmond, effective Aug. 15.
7. Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Ind., named Connie McCahill president and CEO.
8. Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System named Jim Boyle interim CEO of Central Texas Medical Center in San Marcos.

11. Michael Mewhirter was named CFO of Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio.

15. New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System named Tracey Moffatt, RN, CNO and vice president of quality.
16. Michael Blaszyk, senior executive vice president and CFO of San Francisco-based Dignity Health, will retire in December.
17. Patricia "Pidge" Gooch, RN, was named CNO of Kaiser Permanente in the Central Valley, a region including two hospitals in Modesto and Manteca, Calif.
