The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.
1. Vaughan Regional Medical Center in Selma, Ala., named David McCormack CEO, effective April 4.
2. Ann Errichetti, MD, CEO of St. Peter's Hospital and Albany Memorial Hospital, both in Albany, N.Y., will leave in April to take a position in the Chicago area.
3. Robert Tracz will rejoin Painesville, Ohio-based Lake Health as senior vice president and CFO.
4. Sanford, N.C.-based Central Carolina Hospital, a Duke LifePoint Healthcare facility, named John Maxwell CEO.
5. Laurel (Md.) Regional Hospital President and COO John Spearman is resigning, effective April 8.
6. Baxley, Ga.-based Appling HealthCare System named Ray Leadbetter interim CEO.
7. Patrick McConnell, CFO of West Park Hospital in Cody, Wyo., resigned.
8. Tarek A. Salaway was named COO of Mission Hospital in California. The hospital, with campuses in Laguna Beach and Mission Viejo, is one of seven nonprofit hospitals operated by Irvine, Calif.-based St. Joseph Hoag Health.
9. Alice Pope, executive vice president and CFO of Kingsport, Tenn.-based Wellmont Health System, will leave her post to become the new CFO of HonorHealth in Scottsdale, Ariz.
10. Maria Longo, RN, director of emergency nursing at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y., submitted her letter of intent to retire, effective April 1. Three other executives also left Coney Island Hospital, part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Robert Hughes left his position as acting executive director of the hospital, John Maese, MD, the hospital's medical director, transitioned to a new leadership role on a systemwide initiative and Terry Mancher, RN, the hospital's CNO, retired.
11. Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston named Benjamin K. Chu, MD, president and CEO.
12. Blaine Petersen was named CFO of Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola University Health System, effective March 28.
13. Kennedy Health in Southern New Jersey named Glenn A. Zirbser senior vice president and CFO.
14. Cherie Gorby, MSN, RN, former COO of Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colo., will return to her old post May 2.
15. Michael Connelly, president and CEO of Cincinnati-based Mercy Health, will retire Jan. 31, 2017.
16. Santa Barbara, Calif.-based Cottage Health named Brett T. Tande as its new senior vice president and CFO.
17. Kevin Hammeran was named CEO and administrator of Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women and the Spence and Becky Wilson Baptist Children's Hospital, both in Memphis, Tenn.
18. Randall K. Segler, CEO of Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, Okla., retired.
19. Ronald Wehtje was appointed CFO of Adventist Health's Southern California Region.
