The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.
1. Joseph E. Bisordi, MD, executive vice president and CMO of New Orleans-based Ochsner Health System, will retire Sept. 1.
2. Rosanna Morris, RN, was appointed president of Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.
3. Donald D. Trexler was named CEO of Acadia General Hospital in Crowley, La., part of Lafayette (La.) General Health.
4. Commonwealth Health Berwick (Pa.) Hospital Center named two new chief officers. Doreen Kolojejchick, MSN, BSN, RN, was named CNO. Mark McHugh was named assistant CEO.
5. Darcy Burthay, MSN, BSN, RN, was named president and CEO of Providence Health System in Washington, D.C., part of St. Louis-based Ascension, effective July 1.
6. Florida Hospital Medical Group, which is affiliated with Orlando-based Florida Hospital and a subsidiary of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based Adventist Health System, appointed Howard Drenth CEO.
7. Leadership changes are in the works for Community Hospital in Munster, Ind., and Community Care Network, the physician network of Community Healthcare System. Luis Molina was named CEO of Community Hospital, effective July 1. Alan Kumar will replace Mr. Molina as administrator of Community Care Network. Daniel O'Brien, will succeed Mr. Molina as CFO of Community Hospital. Don Fesko is taking over as CEO of Community Foundation of Northwest Indiana, which operates Community Healthcare System, after John Gorski retires.
8. TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., appointed Michael Morrison CFO.
9. UnityPoint Health Partners, the accountable care organization of West Des Moines, Iowa-based UnityPoint Health, is now under the leadership of David Williams, MD. He will serve as CEO of UnityPoint Health Partners, in addition to his role as senior vice president of clinical integration and optimization for UnityPoint Health.
10. Crittenton Hospital Medical Center in Rochester, Mich., named Deborah "Deb" King, MSN, BSN, RN, as CNO.
11. Steve Barron, senior vice president of operations for San Francisco-based Dignity Health's Southern California Service Area, is retiring.
12. Bozeman (Mont.) Health system named John G. Hill president and CEO.
13. St. Luke's Hospital in Columbus, N.C., named James B. "Jim" Bross CEO.
14. Frank Ghinassi, PhD, was named CEO of Trenton, N.J.-based Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care, effective in July.
15. Toledo, Ohio-based ProMedica named Michael P. Browning CFO, effective Aug. 8.
16. New York City-based The New Jewish Home, a nonprofit geriatric health and rehabilitation system, named veteran eldercare executive Tammy L. Marshall, BSN, RN, its first chief experience officer.
