1. Helena (Ark.) Regional Medical Center appointed Leah Osbahr CEO, effective July 1.
2. Coral Gables (Fla.) Hospital appointed Patrick Downes CEO.
3. John Hughson is the new CEO of Alpine, Texas-based Big Bend Regional Medical Center.
4. Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health named Joy Greear president and COO of the still-to-be-built Novant Health Mint Hill (N.C.) Medical Center, and Mike Riley will serve as president and COO at Novant Health Huntersville (N.C.) Medical Center.
5. Jim Bogan was named interim CEO of Upper Peninsula Health System-Marquette (Mich.).
6. Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville, S.C., named Rodney Van Donkelaar CFO.
7. Brian Livingston, MD, current vice president of medical affairs for Swedish Medical Center's First Hill campus in Seattle, was appointed CEO and vice president of medical affairs for Swedish Medical Center's Ballard campus, also in Seattle.
8. Medical Center of Lewisville (Texas) named LaSharndra "Sharn" Barbarin CEO.
9. Marietta, Ga.-based WellStar Health System named Candice Saunders president and CEO effective July 1.
10. David Henry, CEO of Bluefield (W. Va.) Regional Medical Center, resigned to pursue an out-of-state professional opportunity.
11. Michael Tarwater, CEO of Charlotte, N.C.-based Carolinas HealthCare System, will retire in June 2016.
12. Mercy Health-Cincinnati appointed Craig Schmidt COO of The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati.
13. Tuomey Healthcare System in Sumter, S.C., named Michelle Logan-Owens acting president and CEO.
14. Jamal Hakim, MD, COO, is the new COO of Orlando (Fla.) Health.
