The following hospital and health system executive moves were announced or made in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.
1. Natrona Heights, Pa.-based Allegheny Valley Hospital promoted Bill Englert, the hospital's vice president of operations and business development, to CEO.
2. Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan., named Bill Voloch president and CEO.
3. Jen Chahanovich will become the new president and CEO of Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihue, Hawaii on the island of Kauai and CEO of Kauai Medical Clinic.
4. Lynn Wold was named president and CEO of UnityPoint Health – St. Luke's in Sioux City, Iowa, effective June 1.
5. Jean Aycock, CEO of Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville, Ga., is resigning.
6. Six executives and directors at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, Calif., were eliminated May 18 as the facility instituted some top-level restructuring.
7. Edgerton (Wis.) Hospital appointed Jim Schultz CEO.
8. Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Pa., appointed Kendra Aucker president and CEO.
9. Pat Fry, president and CEO of Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health, will retire in January 2016.
10. Michael Schwab, CEO of The Portland (Ore.) Clinic, is retiring.
11. Parsons, Kan.-based Labette Health selected Brian Williams as the hospital's next CEO.
12. Chad Couch, MD, a urologic surgeon who has practiced at Bristol (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center for 15 years, was named the hospital's CMO.
13. Hendersonville, N.C.-based Pardee Hospital permanently appointed David Ellis, MD, CMO.
14. Gary C. Tucker, senior vice president and COO of Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston, N.Y., was named president and CEO of the hospital.
15. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia President and COO Madeline Bell will become the new CEO of the hospital July 1.
