The following hospital and health system executive moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.
1. Robert J. Longo, senior vice president of York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health and president of Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon, Pa., will retire at the end of 2015.
2. Martin Koonsman, MD, was named president of Methodist Dallas Medical Center, effective Oct. 1.
3. Mike McBride, president and CEO of St. Mary's MedicalCenter in Grand Junction, Colo., plans to leave the hospital for a new job with CHI St. Luke's Health in Houston.
4. Burlington-based University of Vermont Medical Center and the University of Vermont Medical Group appointed Rick Vincent vice president of finance and CFO.
5. Stanford (Calif.) Children's Health named Kelly M. Johnson, PhD, RN, vice president for patient care services and CNO.
6. Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital promoted Keith Barber to CEO.
7. Bruce Tassin, the CEO of Christus St. Vincent Regional Medical Center, will leave his post at the end of October to become president of 468-bed Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky., part of Englewood, Colo.-based Catholic Health Initiatives.
8. Stanford (Calif.) Health Care President and CEO Amir Dan Rubin will leave his post at the end of 2015 to join UnitedHealth Group and its Optum organization as executive vice president.
9. Cleveland-based MetroHealth System announced four leadership appointments: Elizabeth Heller Allen was promoted to senior vice president of external affairs; Patrick Curry joined the health system as director of marketing; Charles "Trey" Basham III joined MetroHealth as manager of marketing and community development; and Michael Stern was appointed senior vice president and chief of staff.
10. Placentia (Calif.)-Linda Hospital, part of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, named Brittany Whitaker CFO.

12. Ana Lopez-Blazquez, CEO of Baptist Health Enterprises, was named executive vice president and chief strategy and transformation officer of Coral Gables-based Baptist Health South Florida.
13. Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Spectrum Health picked Ron Lewis as the next president of Zeeland (Mich.) Community Hospital.
14. Carl Hanson, administrator at Rupert, Idaho-based Minidoka Memorial Hospital, will retire from the hospital this year.
