1. Stephen Warren, deputy CIO of the Department of Veterans Affairs, will leave his position for a different federal CIO position.
2. Dallas-based Texas Heath Resources appointed Joey Sudomir senior vice president of innovative technology solutions and CIO.
3. Michael P. Browning was named CFO of Raleigh, N.C.-based WakeMed Health and Hospitals.
4. Bobby Olm-Shipman was appointed president and CEO of Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, Kan., effective September 8.
5. Nicholas J. Lanza was named CFO of East Orange (N.J.) General Hospital.
6. Shoals Hospital in Muscle Shoals, Ala., hired Kidada Hawkins as CEO.
7. Edgefield (S.C.) County Hospital appointed Carlos Milanes CEO.
8. Peter Wozniak, CEO of Venice (Fla.) Regional Bayfront Health, resigned at the end of July. Jeff Reece was named interim CEO, and Peggy Greene is returning as interim CNO.
9. Shelly Harkins, MD, CMO of Belleville, Ill.-based St. Elizabeth's Hospital, resigned after being selected as the first CMO of the Beacon Health System in South Bend, Ind.
10. Peter Ingram was named CIO of Hebrew SeniorLife, a Boston-based senior healthcare and community provider that is affiliated with Harvard Medical School, also in Boston.
11. Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health appointed Gwen McKinney vice president and chief compliance officer.
12. Beth Llewellyn took over as the first CEO of Lawrence, Kan.-based Health Care Access.
13. Mike Casdorph was named president and CEO of Highland-Clarksburg Hospital in Clarksburg, W. Va.
14. Cindy Nuesslein, CEO of University Medical Center New Orleans, will leave the hospital this month for a job with an engineering and design firm.
