13 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Carlton J. Rule, MD, CEO of O' Connor Hospital in Delhi, N.Y., and Tri-Town Regional Hospital in Sidney, N.Y., is leaving his post.

2. Lansing-based Michigan Veteran Health System appointed Brad Slagle interim CEO.

3. Fishermen's Community Hospital in Marathon, Fla., selected David Faulkner to serve as interim CEO.

4. Richmond-based Hospital Corporation of America Virginia named Zach McCluskey CEO of Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, effective Dec. 19, 2016.

5. Boca Raton, Fla.-based Cancer Treatment Centers of America selected Nancy G. Hesse, MSN, RN, to serve as president and CEO of its Eastern Regional Medical Center in Philadelphia, effective immediately.

6. President and CEO of Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth-Hitchcock and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health James Weinstein, MD, will retire at the end of his term in June 2017.

7. Chicago-based Presence Health announced the departure of Roberta Luskin-Hawk, MD, CEO of Presence St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago and Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Ill., effective immediately.

8. Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Lutheran Health Network appointed Aaron Garofola, MBA, permanent CEO of Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne.

9. Henderson, Nev.-based HCA Far West Division named Jeremy Bradshaw CEO of Las Vegas-based MountainView Hospital.

10. Sweeny (Texas) Community Hospital named Scott Briner CEO.

11. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health dismissed interim CEO Pauline Grant.

12. Silver City, N.M.-based Gila Regional Medical Center CEO Brian Cunningham is resigning.

13. Lakewood Ranch (Fla.) Medical Center, a part of Bradenton, Fla.-based Manatee Healthcare System, named Andy Guz CEO.
