1. Fergus Fall, Minn.-based Lake Region Healthcare CEO Larry Schulz plans to retire in May 2017, ending a 40-year administrative career in healthcare.
2. Springfield, Ohio-based Community Mercy Health Partners selected Matthew Caldwell to serve as president and CEO.
3. Henderson, Nev.-based Hospital Corporation of America Far West Division named Joseph A. DeSchryver CEO of Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, Calif., effective Jan. 2, 2017.
4. Elmhurst (Ill.) Hospital selected Pamela Dunley, MBA, RN, to serve as president and CEO, effective Jan. 1, 2017.
5. San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield, Calif., a part of Roseville, Calif.-based Adventist Health, named Sharlet Briggs its permanent president and CEO.
6. Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky., part of Cincinnati-based Mercy Health, appointed Michael Yungmann president and CEO.
7. Conemaugh Health System, based in Johnstown, Pa., named Tim Harclerode, RN, MBA, CEO of Hastings, Pa.-based Conemaugh Miners Medical Center, in addition to his current role as Roaring Spring, Pa.-based Nason Hospital CEO.
8. Franklin (La.) Foundation Hospital appointed Jim Platt interim CEO.
9. StoneSprings Hospital Center in Dulles, Va., part of Hospital Corporation of America's capital division based in Richmond, Va., selected Lance Jones to serve as CEO.
10. Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth named Joel Yuhas president and CEO of Memorial Hospital Central and Memorial Hospital North, both based in Colorado Springs, Colo.
11. Naperville, Ill.-based Edward-Elmhurst Health CEO Pam Davis is retiring, effective June 2017.
12. Wyoming Medical Center in Casper announced President and CEO Vickie Diamond plans to retire, ending her eight-year tenure as the medical center's leader.
13. Roosevelt General Hospital in Portales, N.M., tapped Bo Beames to serve as interim CEO.
