Zobreus launches patient-centered EMR

Zobreus Medical Corp. has launched its Patient-Oriented Electronic Medical Record in the App Store.

The POEM Record is consumer-centric, yet still allows providers to integrate notes and engage with patients through the platform.

"We're responding to the large, unmet need from health consumers who definitively want full, unfettered access to, and control over, their health records," says Cofounder and CEO L. Okey Onyejekwe Jr., MD, a practicing physician. "Instead of sifting through stacks of physical documents and sending repeated requests while waiting for weeks, consumers can now painlessly gain control over their medical information."
