Twitter's VP of engineering heads to Outcome Health as chief engineering officer

Outcome Health tapped Nandini Ramani, former vice president of engineering at Twitter, as its chief engineering officer earlier this month, CNBC reports.

Outcome Health, a Chicago-based health IT company that aims to provide physicians and patients with actionable healthcare insights, partners with 230,000 healthcare providers and 94 million patients. It raised $500 million during its first funding round in May.

Ms. Ramani ranked No. 11 on Business Insider's 43 most powerful female engineers of 2017 list, released Feb. 22.

"I love the mission-driven aspects of healthcare and also the re-energizing of an industry," Ms. Ramani told CNBC of her decision to join Outcome Health.
