Thomson Reuters released a new data management tool, BlockOne IQ, which allows developers to run Thomson Reuters market data within their applications.
BlockOne IQ enables web-based application programming interfaces and blockchain-based applications to communicate with one another. By bridging between the two technologies, the new tool will allow firms running trading systems on Ethereum and Corda blockchains to include Thomson Reuters market data, Reuters reports.
Thomson Reuters hopes the new tool will accelerate blockchain adoption in the finance sector.
