After three months serving as CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai has become the highest paid CEO in the country, reports The Guardian.
Upon becoming Google's chief executive, Mr. Pichai received 273,328 shares, worth $199 million, according to the report. The addition of these shares elevates Mr. Pichai's total holdings in Alphabet to a $650 million value.
However, the report notes Mr. Pichai's stock value is still less than those of Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, which are valued at $34.6 billion and $33.9 billion, respectively. Additionally, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt holds $3 billion in stock, according to the report.
