Catalyze, a HITRUST certified cloud provider has released Redpoint, a product that aims to make it easier for digital companies to connect their applications and software to major EHR platforms.
Here are four key points about Redpoint.
1. The company designed Redpoint with the intention of making integration a process that takes only a few clicks, rather than a drawn out standardization process.
2. Redpoint includes three components: Scripts, or pre-configured sets of EHR integrations packaged to enable certain workflows for digital health companies; connectors, which automate secure connectivity to and from EHRs; and bearings, or workflows that coordinate project management requirements during an integration.
3. "We spent the last several years aligning our integration product with the mission and success of digital health vendors who are disrupting healthcare," Catalyze Co-founder and CEO Travis Good, MD, said in a statement. "Tailor-made to catalyze the shift from volume- to value-based care, Redpoint enables an intelligent integration workflow, which accelerates the adoptions and utilization of digital health."
4. The product supports all major EHR vendors and provides companies with access to simplified application programming interfaces to ease integration while maintaining secure connections.
