Cloud-based EHR provider Practice Fusion has launched a version of its EHR that is native to iOS- and Android-based tablets, meaning the application program has been written for the specific hardware.
According to Practice Fusion, the release of the new versions of the EHR make it the only meaningful use-certified EHR with continuity and functionality across three platforms: desktop, iOS and Android.
"Practice Fusion is the only EHR available where providers have the ability to quickly and securely access their free EHR across multiple platforms," said Ryan Howard, CEO and founder of Practice Fusion, in a statement. "This independence empowers providers by giving them the choice to use whichever device or platform that best helps them provide quality patient care."
