Franklin, Tenn.-based Parallon has selected Curtis Watkins as president and CEO of the company's technology solutions business unit, effective immediately.
Parallon provides healthcare business and operational improvement services. In his new role, Mr. Watkins will oversee implementation and support of IT services, applications and processes for Parallon clients.
Mr. Watkins has been serving as interim president for Parallon Technology Solutions since October 2014, prior to which he was vice president and chief strategy officer of the company. Before joining Parallon, Mr. Watkins was corporate vice president and deputy CIO of Community Health Systems, also based in Franklin, Tenn. He also was CIO of Austin, Texas-based St. David's Healthcare and program director and director of IT strategy development of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.
