Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, based in Chicago, has named Melinda Whittington senior vice president and CFO, effective on the first business day after the company files its annual report on Form 10-K.
Ms. Whittington will fill the position, as current Allscripts CFO Rick Poulton was promoted to president in October 2015. Mr. Poulton will continue to handle CFO duties and his new responsibilities until Ms. Whittington officially steps into the role.
Ms. Whittington previously served as senior vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer at Kraft Heinz.
