For the fourth quarter 2015 ended March 31, 2015, San Francisco-based McKesson reported revenue totaling $44.9 billion, a 19 percent increase from the $37.8 billion reported during the same time period last year.
Additionally, the health IT company's fiscal year revenue totaled $179 billion, up 30 percent from the $137.4 billion the previous year.
McKesson's reported profit for the last quarter was $132 million, a 64 percent decrease from $370 million during the same time last year, according to a Wall Street Journal report, which suggests part of the decline is due to a $150 million settlement with the U.S. government for charges related to order reporting practices for controlled substances.
