The Hawaii Pacific Oncology Center at Hilo (Hawaii) Medical Center has implemented MEDITECH's Oncology 6.0x EHR, making it the ninth and final clinic in Hilo Medical Center's outpatient clinics to adopt the EHR, according to Big Island Now.
HPOC joins HMC's cardiology, ear, nose and throat, bone and joint, surgical associations, family health center, neurology, pain management and urology clinics to go live on MEDITECH's EHR.
"This completes our transition from paper to an EHR for the Hawaii Health Systems Corp. East Hawaii Region, a five-year project that has added many efficiencies to enhance patient care," said Kris Wilson, regional director of the project management office.
