A specialty hospital being built in southern India will implement healthcare technology licensed by Detroit-based Henry Ford Health System.
The Indian health system, Pearl Human Care Private Limited, plans to break ground on NaruviHospital next spring, incorporating digital technology provided by Henry Ford Health System. The technology agreement was managed through Henry Ford Health System Innovations, the health system's commercialization arm. The agreement will be in place for 20 years, according to a Business Standard report.
"We are delighted at the opportunity to work with Henry Ford Health System in setting up a world class healthcare facility," said G.V. Sampath, chairman and managing director of Pearl Human Care, in a statement. "We believe Henry Ford's experience will bring to India modern techniques and practices from the United States that will help revolutionize healthcare in the region."
