Each month, Google notifies customers of 4,000 state-sponsored cyberattacks, reports Reuters.
Diane Greene, board member of Google parent company Alphabet, revealed the number of attempted attacks at a Fortune tech conference in Aspen, Colo., according to Reuters.
Google has "led the way" in alerting users of state-sponsored spying, according to the report, and has spurred other companies like Microsoft to do the same.
