With the upcoming launch of a new product, eClinicalWorks is making moves into the acute care market.
eClinicalWorks 10i is a cloud-centric platform that ties together the continuum of care, from inpatient to outpatient and allied health settings.
The vendor entered a joint development agreement with Georgetown, S.C.-based Tidelands Health, a system comprised of three hospitals and more than 40 outpatient locations, to roll out eClinicalWorks 10i.
"The changing landscape makes it even more imperative to have solutions that give a complete, unified view of a patient that is accessible anytime, anywhere," said Girish Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. "By taking a cloud-centric approach, organizations will achieve higher ROI and lower total cost of ownership than with traditional systems. We are excited to enter the U.S. acute care market and to work with premier organizations, including Tidelands Health."
The new product is scheduled for a 2017 release.
