Medical providers have exchanged 1.5 million medical referrals on eClinicalWorks' EHR network P2POpen.
The vendor-neutral network has facilitated a total of 2 million communications to date, including referrals, consults and messages.
"We believe that optimal physician collaboration is central to improving the overall quality of patient care," said Girish Navani, CEO and cofounder of eClinicalWorks. "Communication between EHRs aids the delivery of care and advances the industry as a whole."
