Mountain View, Calif.-based drchrono launched its iPhone EHR app with full clinical documentation functionality on Thursday.
The app enables physicians to complete patient rounds, update patient encounters, sign off on updates, lock EHR notes, submit documentation to a billing team and bill services to insurance companies through an iPhone.
"This is a major step forward for the mobile EHR industry," said drchrono CEO and cofounder Michael Nusimow. "As more and more form factors come out, like the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Pro, we are rethinking and redefining our technology so we can be on all of these devices."
drchrono's iPhone EHR app is available to clients on drchrono's free and paid EHR plans.
