For the second year in a row, healthcare research firm KLAS named DICOM the No. 1 medical image exchange vendor in its 2015/2016 rankings.
DICOM's Grid platform is a cloud-based medical image management suite that facilitates image and data sharing.
The vendor also announced two hospital contracts for DICOM Grid: Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Mass., and Jefferson Radiology, which has locations throughout Connecticut.
