Nearly 14,000 healthcare leaders and providers will convene in Kansas City, Mo., for the annual Cerner Health Conference from Oct. 11-14.
The conference's theme this year is "Connecting what Matters," and will focus on connecting all aspects of health and care to create an integrated continuum of care.
The majority of the educational sessions at the conference will be led by Cerner clients and will cover issues such as population health, clinical and financial integration, care transitions, clinical mobility and interoperability.
HHS Secretary Karen DeSalvo, MD, is slated as a guest speaker at the conference.
The conference is projected to be Kansas City's third largest convention of the year, brining in more than $14 million for the city's economy.
