American Well's mobile app Amwell was the most downloaded telehealth app in 2014, according to App Annie, a mobile analytics firm.
Amwell connects patients to U.S. board-certified physicians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The app was launched in October 2013 and passed 1 million downloads in 2014.
Amwell is free to download on both iOS and Android operating systems.
