Health IT vendor Allscripts announced its platform has enabled more than 2 billion data exchange transactions to date.
The Allscripts Developer Platform has certified almost 170 applications and devices for partners. More than 5,000 developers currently use Allscripts application programming interfaces.
"Healthcare organizations need innovative solutions to meet the needs of their populations, and [the] Allscripts open architecture means entrepreneurs and clients can quickly access an open platform to enhance the care they provide," said Allscripts Chief Innovation Officer Erik Kins.
