A startup accelerator that focuses on advancing women-led businesses has selected its next class of startups. Of the six companies to receive support and guidance, three are specifically related to health IT.
Prosper Women Entrepreneurs Startup Accelerator's Fall 2016 cohort includes the following health IT-focused startups:
Mindset: A fitness tracker tied to mental health
Precision Image Analysis: A cloud-based, advanced medical image processing and analysis tool
RippleNami: A visualization and mapping tool that guides users to find healthcare services or other critical items
Each startup will receive an initial $50,000 capital investment with the opportunity to earn up to $100,000 in additional funding.
