7 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported within the past week.

1. Innovaccer, a Palo Alto, Calif.-based healthcare analytics company, launched an operating system that powers healthcare called Datashop.

2. RxWiki, a digital health company, merged with TeleManager Technologies, a communications solutions company.

3. Atlanta-based Grady Health System implemented Glytec's eGlycemic Management System, a personalized diabetes management solution.

4. IBM's "Watson for Oncology" will go live at Jupiter (Fla.) Medical Center at the beginning of March, marking the technology's first deployment at a U.S. community hospital. 

5. London-based King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust chose Cerner to implement its EHR at its upcoming hospital in the United Arab Emirates.

6. Incheon, South Korea-based Gachon University Gil Medical Center is using "Watson for Oncology" to assist in cancer diagnosis, marking the first deployment of IBM's artificial intelligence platform in South Korea.

7. Philips and Suffern, N.Y.-based Bon Secours Charity Health System launched a $180 million multiyear partnership geared toward improving population health initiatives.
