6 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported in the past week.

Jacksonville, Ill.-based Passavant Area Hospital launched remote telemetry services with Advanced ICU Care, a telehealth and patient monitoring provider.

The Egyptian government selected GE Healthcare to supply more than 200 hospitals with 700 technological units, valued at $25.8 million.

Surgical Care Affiliates, which operates more than 200 surgical facilities in partnership with physicians, will implement HSTpathways' ambulatory surgery center software.

Bryan, Texas-based Integrity Urgent Care will implement software from Practice Velocity.

R1 RCM, a provider of revenue cycle management and physician advisory services, and St. Louis-based Ascension agreed to amend and expand their relationship.

The NFL Players Association named Whoop, developer of the Whoop Strap 2.0 performance monitoring device, its official licensed recovery wearable.
