6 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported during the past week.

Fairfield, Calif.-based NorthBay Healthcare joined forces with UbiCare, a Boston-based technology company focused on patient engagement, to create the "Baby Steps by NorthBay" program.

Surescripts, a national health information network, added 14 health systems to its National Record Locator Service, bringing the total number of participants to 28.

Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center will collaborate with Tempus — a health technology company focused on personalized oncology care — to operationalize its first biobank.

Hagerstown, Md.-based Meritus Health will invest nearly $100 million over the next five years to transition its EHR to Epic.

Covina, Calif.-based Citrus Valley Health Partners revealed plans to implement the Meditech Web EHR at its facilities.

Tulare, Calif.-based Southern Inyo Hospital deployed OpenVista Cloud EHR, an IT system from Medsphere Systems Corp.
