The following vendor contracts and go-lives were announced within the past week.
1. San Antonio, Texas-based University Health System selected Spok's enterprise suite of communication solutions, including on-call scheduling, secure texting, test results management and hospital call center solutions.
2. Annapolis (Md.) Internal Medicine launched athenahealth's athenaText secure text messaging solution.
3. Boston HealthNet, a health center controlled network, will implement OCHIN's EHR solution and supplementary services.
4. FirstHealth of the Carolinas, based in Pinehurst, N.C., plans to transition to Epic's EHR over the next two years.
5. Baptist Health South Florida, based in Coral Gables, chose Cerner's EHR and population health management platforms to implement across the system's hospitals, physician offices and outpatient locations.
