The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported in the past week.
1. Tift Regional Health System in Tifton, Ga., chose Cerner as its new information technology partner for EHR and revenue cycle management systems across its acute and ambulatory care facilities.
2. Toledo, Ohio-based hospital chain ProMedica, plans to expand its Sectra picture archiving and communication system into a vendor neutral archive through a new, six-year contract.
3. Vermont has announced the state-sponsored launch of PatientPing, which will notify healthcare providers in the state whenever their patients receive care at another facility that participates in PatientPing.
4. Beebe Healthcare, based in Lewes, Del., rolled out CareAware Connect, a new clinical mobility communications platform for its providers.
5. CHRISTUS Health, based in Irving, Texas, chose Nuance Communications' clinical documentation and speech recognition for enterprisewide implementation.
