12 recent vendor contracts, go-lives

The following health IT vendor contracts and go-lives were reported within the past week.

1. Royal Philips unveiled Jovia Coach, a smartphone app that aims to reduce a user's risk of Type 2 diabetes.

2. McKesson Health Solutions and National Decision Support Company teamed up to improve automation.

3. Siemens Healthineers unveiled its Digital Ecosystem, a digital platform for healthcare, services and solutions providers.

4. New York City-based Logicalis Healthcare Solutions launched its Epic service desk, which gives healthcare professionals access to a group of Epic IT specialists.

5. Boston-based Atrius Health and IBM Watson Health entered an agreement to create a new analytics solution called Watson Cognitive Insights. 

6. Verona, Wis.-based Epic Systems and Burlington, Mass.-based Nuance Communications teamed up to help disabled veterans schedule medical appointments. 

7. National Decision Support Company's CareSelect Imaging platform will be integrated with Westwood, Mass.-based Meditech's EHR solutions.

8. The statewide health information exchange Delaware Health Information Network and MEDfx, a Warwick, R.I.-based population health application developer, partnered to improve EHR interoperability. 

9. Houston-based MD Anderson Cancer Center put its oncology collaboration with IBM Watson on hold.

10. American Well and Samsung Electronics joined forces to create new healthcare services for providers, payers and employers.

11. NTT Data and Oracle expanded their relationship to include end-to-end cloud capabilities for the Oracle Healthcare Foundation.

12. Transcend Insights unveiled its Analytics-as-a-Service offering, which is powered through its Anvita Engine.
