UHS unit to add 50 employees for billing office

A physician practice management unit of King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services seeks 50 employees for a new billing office, according to a Philadelphia Business Journal report.

The unit, Independence Physician Management, is opening the Malvern, Pa.-based office this spring, Bill Oliver, who will lead the office, told the publication.

While the office plans to initially add 50 employees, it anticipates the number of hires will reach 90 by the end of 2017, the report states.

Positions currently up for grabs include jobs in coding, accounts receivable, claims, collections and credit services. A job fair is scheduled for March 8, according to the report.
