King's Daughters Medical Center partners with Cardon Outreach for self-pay RCM services

King's Daughters Medical Center, based in Ashland, Ky., has selected Cardon Outreach to provide revenue cycle management services for self-pay patients.

Cardon already provides eligibility services for KDMC. Within the first six months of working with the medical center's accounts, Cardon was able to increase certification dollars from $6.8 million to $10.7 million.

"We are confident our self-pay success rate will increase through our expanded partnership because Cardon Outreach will employ the same industry-leading customer service that we have grown accustomed to over the past year and continue to utilize their proprietary technology, to capture patient information, scan hundreds of programs for eligibility, and provide data and reports back to us in ways that are meaningful to the efforts of our organization," said Mark Beilstein, KDMC's director of revenue cycle operations.
