In a move to refocus its service offerings, the Kell Group will no longer provide outsourced medical billing services to healthcare clients.
The company said it will instead refocus its business on revenue cycle management consulting for private medical practices.
The Kell Group founder and CEO, Donna Kell, will assume a revenue cycle leadership position for Partners in Nephrology & Endocrinology.
"Several opportunities emerged in a short span," said Ms. Kell. "So, it made sense to act on them in the most strategic manner possible while keeping the interests of our long-time employees and clients in mind."
The firm has transferred its medical billing clients to Healthcare Support Technologies. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
