Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the largest increase in share price, with shares rising 11.5 percent.
King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services saw its share price rise 0.2 percent, the least of any of the major for-profit hospital operators.
Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Holdings saw its share price fall last week.

- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $59.23 per share (up 1 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $22.72 per share (up 3.4 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $123.22 per share (up 0.2 percent)
