Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the largest decrease in share price, with shares falling 8.9 percent.
Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health saw its share price fall 0.9 percent, the least of any of the major for-profit hospital operators.

- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $10.64 per share (down 7.8 percent)
- HCA Holdings (Nashville, Tenn.): $74.23 per share (down 1.9 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $58.71 per share (down 0.9 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $20.70 per share (down 8.9 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $120.16 per share (down 2.5 percent)
