Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health saw its share price fall 1.4 percent, the least of any of the major for-profit hospital operators.
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems and King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services saw their share prices rise.

- HCA Holdings (Nashville, Tenn.): $71.39 per share (down 1.5 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $56.55 per share (down 1.4 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $16.22 per share (down 3.9 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $123.17 per share (up 0.4 percent)
