All five major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the largest increase in share price, with shares rising 18.9 percent.
King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services saw its share price rise 3.3 percent, the least of any of the major for-profit hospital operators.

- HCA Holdings (Nashville, Tenn.): $72.47 per share (up 4.2 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $57.34 per share (up 9.1 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $16.87 per share (up 15.9 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $122.66 per share (up 3.3 percent)
