Up 2.7 percent last week, shares of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health rose more than any other major for-profit hospital operator.

- Hospital Corporation of America (Nashville, Tenn.): $90.50 per share (down 1.6 percent).
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $87.38 per share (up 2.7 percent).
- Tenet Healthcare Corp. (Dallas): $59.20 per share (up 2.03 percent).
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $141.86 per share (down 1.08 percent).
