Among the major for-profit hospital operators, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the greatest increase in share price at 8.2 percent.

- HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $85.73 per share (down 1.1 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $65.35 per share (down 0.1 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $20.65 per share (up 8.2 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $124.42 per share (up 0.6 percent)
