Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the largest increase in share price, with shares rising 7.8 percent last week.
Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health saw its share price rise 3.8 percent last week, the least of any of the major for-profit hospital operators.

- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $15.63 per share (up 7.1 percent)
- Hospital Corporation of America (Nashville, Tenn.): $70.94 per share (up 4.9 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $63.66 per share (up 3.8 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $25.68 per share (up 7.8 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $114.29 per share (up 7.7 percent)
