All five of the major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices fall last week.
Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems saw the largest decrease in share price, with its shares falling 6.5 percent last week.
Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health saw its share price drop 0.6 percent last week, the least of any of the major for-profit hospital operators.

- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $26.53 per share (down 6.5 percent)
- Hospital Corporation of America (Nashville, Tenn.): $67.60 per share (down 1.9 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $73.39 per share (down 0.6 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $30.30 per share (down 6.1 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $119.49 per share (down 1 percent)
