All five major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices rise last week.
Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare saw the largest increase in share price, with shares rising 9.4 percent last week.
Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America saw its share price rise 1.5 percent last week, the least of any of the major for-profit hospital operators.

- Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $19.86 per share (up 5.9 percent)
- Hospital Corporation of America (Nashville, Tenn.): $80.33 per share (up 1.5 percent)
- LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $70.86 per share (up 2.8 percent)
- Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $31.73 per share (up 9.4 percent)
- Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $125.38 per share (up 1.8 percent)
